Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Overview
- Responsible for managing major capital developments of any value as required.
- Working within the Estates Department,
you will lead a team responsible for the delivery of comprehensive projects across the Trust’s estates, which will be responsive, efficient, financially effective, and to a high standard. - Advising on the resources required to meet the capital program.
- Required to provide solutions to complex engineering & building projects at the design stage and to apply personal knowledge, experience, and initiative to overcome complex problems that develop with project planning.

Formal Qualifications, education & training required
- To have specialist works and building knowledge including legislation to degree level or equivalent and
post graduate knowledge through training or equivalent experience and knowledge. - NEBOSH Certificate in a health and safety related subject.
Essential skills and competencies
- IT skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- The ability to pay attention to detail.
- Good organisational and project management skills. Good problem-solving skills.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to liaise with staff at all levels.
- Good level of fitness and a head for heights.
- The ability to meet targets.
Desirable skills and competencies
- Competent with AutoCAD or similar. Competent with Microsoft Projects.
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
Essential experience
- Five years’ experience in building services.
- Experience in construction site management.
- In-depth knowledge of the construction industry.
- Sound knowledge of Building Regulations.
