Job Title: Property & Space Utilisation
Technician
Overview
To primarily support the Property and Space Utilisation team in undertaking and providing technical support relating to both property and space utilisation projects. The role requires an experienced professional with good organisational and communication skills and ability to provide space management advice based on the health and safety and workplace principles while working towards the Trust’s aspiration of smarter working environments.
In addition, the selected professional will be fully competent in the use of AutoCAD for drawing production and amendments.

Formal Qualifications, education & training required
- Educated to degree level and/or relevant knowledge and experience.
- Knowledge and proficient use of CAD systems and Microsoft Office programs including Microsoft Excel.
- Good understanding of change management principles.
- Knowledge of Space Utilisation practices, procedures and principles in buildings included health and safety and workplace regulations.
- Experience in project management is required in order to have the credibility to work at all levels in the Trust, across a range of different areas and provide detailed advice to other specialists and non-specialists is essential.

Essential experience
• Experience in using occupancy data to provide insight into how organisations are occupying space and where they could be persuaded to change is desirable
• Experience in National Health Service or similar environment is desirable.
