Overview
Our 1 day Remote, tutor-led City & Guilds training course will introduce you to Pseudomonas aeruginosa – its risks, habitat and subsequent control methods. This course has been designed to provide a proactive solution to Pseudomonas aeruginosa rather than a reactive approach. We will provide you with an understanding of effective hygiene practice and water management to ensure the risk of Pseudomonas aeruginosa is kept to a minimum. The course will align with BS8580-2 Risk Assessments for Pseudomonas aeruginosa and other waterborne pathogens – CoP. Upon completing this course you will have gained a more informed understanding and increased knowledge of Pseudomonas aeruginosa to help in carrying out water risk assessments in a healthcare environment and contributing to the Water Safety Plan.

This Pseudomonas aeruginosa training course has been designed as an entry point for anyone needing to further their water hygiene knowledge to include other waterborne pathogens. This course has been developed inline with HTM 04-01, and BS 8580-2:2022 ensuring that you have the most up to date knowledge and is directly applicable to the healthcare environment.
