Alongside the third-party party recognition provided by the City & Guilds Assured scheme, the UK-based training provider has announced its status as an Institute of Fire Safety Managers ‘Approved Centre’. Sales director, Jonathan Eland, said: “Making sure that our clients can quantify their training is something we take seriously. We want to make sure that you come away with great value for money – especially when our courses require you to spend your time away from home and your busy site.
“We have therefore begun a relationship with the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM)
as an Approved Centre to offer an additional third-party accreditation on select fire safety training courses, which are available from all of our training centres in York, Slough, or Livingston, and can also be delivered at your premises.”
With this, PPL Training now offers a number of courses designed for maintenance professionals across the healthcare estate, as well as Responsible Persons (Trust Board members and PFIs), enabling them to carry out their duties in line with the HTM 05 suite of guidance notes.
Courses include:
● Fire Safety Responsible Person Introduction HTM 05-01.
● Fire Alarms and Detection Systems – Commercial.
● Fire and Smoke Damper Survey and Inspection.
● Fire Stopping Survey and Inspection.
● Fire Safety Technical Awareness.
● Fire Door Survey and Inspection.
