The New Hospital Programme is delighted to be able to share with you the first iteration of the NHP Supplier Guide.
Building 40 hospitals across England by 2030 and together with eight previously announced schemes, means 48 hospitals will be delivered by the end of the decade. The new hospitals will result in outdated infrastructure being replaced by facilities for both staff and patients that are on the cutting edge of modern technology, innovation and sustainability. To realise the ambition of the NHP we will call upon the skills and expertise of companies of all sizes, across a broad range of sectors. To help businesses understand more about the programme the NHP is really excited to share its new Supplier Guide with the market.
The Supplier Guide is aligned to the Construction Playbook, it highlights what is important to us and what will be required from our supply chain. We want suppliers to get involved now, adding your expertise to ours and realising the opportunities for the biggest hospital building programme in a generation.
The Supplier Guide is a dynamic document which will be updated regularly as we move through the programme. The NHP will continue to develop and deliver supplier guidance across a range of accessible mechanisms to inform stakeholders of our Strategic Goals, provide greater transparency of opportunities and engage suppliers from across the UK and throughout the supply ecosystem.
We would be grateful for your support in cascading the link to our Supplier Guide to your members and your wider network on our behalf, to ensure as many organisations as possible have visibility.
We would also like to take this opportunity to direct organisations to our published Commercial Pipeline through which they can view the latest information on upcoming and awarded NHP opportunities and, for those organisations who haven’t done so already, to sign up to our market engagement survey to stay informed of future NHP updates and opportunities.
