Centiel SA is a Swiss-based technology company designing, manufacturing, and delivering industry-leading, innovative, critical power protection solutions. Started by the original founder of Newave SA, Filippo Marbach, and several members of his original R&D team, it is now expanding through a network of wholly owned subsidiaries in targeted countries and distribution/channel partners in other locations.

Filippo Marbach was responsible for the first transformerless UPS design and bringing the pioneering Modular concept to the market. Centiel SA designed, developed, and launched the 4th generation modular with significant improvements in efficiency, availability, and resilience.

In 2017 Centiel acquired a UK distributor as its UK subsidiary, now trading as Centiel UK Ltd. This company was established in 2005 building a strong service business with a reputation for high-quality service.

In addition, the Chairman of Centiel UK is David Bond, ex CEO of Newave bringing considerable knowledge and experience to the team.
