BDS carry out the design, supply, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of all types of Fire Detection and Alarms, Fire Suppression, Fire Extinguishers, PAVA, Emergency Lights, Intruder, Access and CCTV systems and Disabled Refuge call systems all to British Standards’ requirements and offer a 24/7 all-year-round emergency call out service.

We are accredited to BAFE SP203-1 for Design, Install, Commissioning and Handover, Verification and Maintenance of Fire Detection and Alarm Systems.

Our Quality Management Procedures are certificated to ISO9001(2015) via NSI FIRE GOLD and NACOSS GOLD for security.

Our Electrical division holds NICEIC certification and BS 7671 18th Edition certified engineers.

We are also registered full members of the FIA, our Fire Trade Association and IHEEM for Healthcare Sector contracts

We also hold CHAS and SafeContractor, Health and Safety accreditations and Constructionline GOLD Registration, plus ACCLAIM SSIP and AVETTA SSIP, ensuring our clients can have every confidence in our business practices, health and safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

We have external Qualified HS&E advisers Blue Planet Consulting.

We hold a lower-tier Waste Carrier Licence and conduct our business in a Sustainable way with low impact on the environment and resources.

LOCATION:

BDS offices, stores and engineer base are in Hackbridge near Sutton, Surrey SM6 7AH.

Our main contracts area in Surrey plus the surrounding areas, London and the M25 catchment.

So, wherever our engineers are working or travelling to during their day, there will always be someone nearby to pop in if required, to help ensure a fully operational system at all times.

Our NHS experienced engineering team can be mobilised and on-site very quickly for any emergency response.

SPARES

Our stock of spare devices and equipment, including replacement panels, will also be readily available from our Hackbridge stores, for engineered solutions to minimise downtime of life safety systems.

We have approved installers for: Notifier (Gold Partners), Gent, Morley, Ziton and Advanced, Apollo and Hochiki, C-Tec, amongst others.
