Air Handling Systems Ltd (AHS) is one of the largest privately owned UK manufacturers of Air Handling Units and has been operating since 1986. Based in the North East of England, our manufacturing facility produces equipment for the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Commercial and Education sectors. With support from our highly experienced R&D team, AHS offer a wide range of industry leading standard products (as well as the ability to bespoke design where client requirements are more specific or complex).

Our product solutions include the “AIR-HTM”, winner of the Product Innovation of the Year 2023 IHEEM Healthcare Estates Awards, which are standardised models of HTM compliant Cabinet AHU’s for healthcare applications. With an ultra compact footprint, high efficiency heat recovery, EC fans, optional packaged controls and a few other options which make this the best product of its type on the market today.

In addition, we also have the “AIR-HRU” Packaged void heat recovery unit which includes the recently introduced the “HTM Adapt” which brings our commercial HRU solution closer to HTM compliance than any other void mounted product in the market. As well as the “AIR-OPTEVENT” Packaged liquid based heat recovery system with up to 90% thermal efficiency and zero risk of cross contamination of air streams. Complete with pump sets and controls and matched to our AHU to offer a fully packaged solution which meets the HTM requirements for Healthcare.
