Available work experience opportunities
Work Experience Placements: We aim to provide work experience placements to local young people in Years 10 and 11, and by partnering with local schools, colleges, and JobCentre Plus to identify candidates, especially targeting those not in employment, training, or education (NEET). Each work experience placement is tailored to the individual’s specific needs and career aspirations. We provide a hands-on experience in various construction roles to help students understand different career paths within the industry. We accommodate individuals’ schedules, allowing placements to extend over a longer period if they are attending other courses or commitments.
Engagement with Schools and Colleges: We liaise with local schools and colleges to deliver presentations on construction careers. We conduct mock interviews to prepare older students for real-world job applications and interviews.
Apprenticeship Scheme: Our apprenticeship scheme is a structured training program which focuses on technical training and soft skills development. Our structured training program focuses on the technical training on essential construction skills. Our soft skills development emphasises on communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills essential for the workplace.
