| The IFHE 2022 Congress will be hosted by the Canadian Healthcare Engineering Society, at the 2022 National Conference. We are seeking Speaker abstracts for both Domestic and International Submissions for the IFHE 2022 Congress | CHES 2022 National Conference. The Congress theme is ‘Unleashing Innovation: Healthcare Engineering Excellence’. Increasingly, healthcare engineering leaders are being called on at crucial moments to ensure the best possible patient care. Engineers were instrumental in the response to the global pandemic of 2020/2021 either by maximizing existing healthcare spaces or creating new/temporary spaces to deal with the novel virus. Innovative solutions and comprehensive analytics lead many healthcare organizations to successfully deal with this historic event. There are many challenges facing the healthcare community, and it is through innovation and collaboration that solutions will be found to current and future challenges facing the healthcare systems of the world. Identifying and developing the most promising areas of innovation internationally has the potential to sustainably reduce growth in health spending while leading to improvements in the quality and accessibility of care across the care continuum. Bringing together the best of the best from around the globe, this international conference will investigate innovation and engineering excellence that contribute to ensuring these changes will do no harm and enhance the patient and family experience.
