Job Title: Catering Assistant
Overview
The post-holder will work as part of the catering team to provide ancillary services directly to patients, service users, and customers by preparing, cooking and portioning a range of nutritionally sound, palatable and safe meals, using traditional and cook freeze methods of catering.
A range of duties are covered from the start of the food preparation service through to the delivery to point of use, serving, cleaning and managing stock levels in line with legislative and local policy and procedures.
The post holder will distribute patient meals to service users across the Trust using Trust vehicles.

Job Title: Catering Clerk
Overview
To liaise between the Catering Department and Wards ensuring that patients are able to choose from the menus. To produce production schedules and financial cost control information as required for the efficient running of the Catering Department
The position of Catering Clerk involves the daily visit to all Ward areas. Contact is maintained with all levels of Ward staff and in some instances patients themselves

Overview
Under the direction of the Head Chef/Shift leader, work as a team member of the catering team to produce using and following standard recipes, food, safely, attractive and to a high quality to meet the nutritional and cultural needs to expected standard for patients/customers within the agreed budget and resources
All duties carried out by the employee will be in accordance with food safety and health and safety legislation and in line with Trust policies, this includes an excellent standard of cleanliness of all catering equipment and rooms in relation to catering areas.
To take the role of Shift Leader as required which involves taking charge of the kitchen

Job Title: Catering Manager
Overview
The post-holder will be responsible for the operational management of the Trust Catering Services and in ensuring value for money is achieve and that standards are maintained.
The post holder will contribute significantly to the provision of a quality service within the Trust and will be responsible for the effective management and provide leadership to the Catering team in addition to other Facilities services managers, supervisors and front line staff as required.
The post holder will plan and organise the use of materials and human resources across the various departments within Facilities and take responsibility in the absence of the Head of Facilities.
