Job Title: Estates Development Support Officer
Overview
- To assist in the delivery of the Trust Capital Programme and the IHSS Transition Programme.
- Ensuring that overarching commissioning/decommissioning requirements are dealt with in a co-ordinated and cost effective manner.
- To support users with the implementation of CSD services when commissioning of any new premises development and to pro-actively contribute to Estates Development Project Management teams.
- To liaise with project managers and managers to identify functional content of capital schemes, design and programme requirements; recommending design content and advising on final layouts.
- To establish and maintain effective working relationships with Estates Operations, Health & Safety Advisor, Fire Manager, Soft Facilities and Local Security Management Specialist to ensure that estates, health & safety, fire and security issues are dealt with appropriately.
- Day to day management of the Estates Directorate drawing records, O&M Manuals, Compliance records and numerous reports stored on Trust wide and external database (CAFM Software).
- Undertake site surveys of the Trust’s land and property portfolio and help to establish and maintain up-to-date and accurate AutoCAD and digital records using CAFM Software.
- To manage, produce, update, collate and modify the directorates drawing records and to maintain an auditable trail which meets the requirements of statutory and central NHS standards.
- To produce information reports as required by the corporate services management team specifically in relation to Capital projects and the CAFM system.

Essential experience
- Working knowledge of PFI / Outsourced E&FM contracts and their management.
