Job Title: Facilities Supervisor
Overview
- Manage all the domestic and environmental services at the site.
- Participate in induction and training of new staff and
assist with technician training when required using a range of methods. - The individual is required to communicate and establish a good working relationship with colleagues and customers and to support supervisors, guiding and helping them fulfill their duties.
- Responsible for the day to day 1st line supervision of the Facilities Services Supervisor(s) and Clerical staff providing effective leadership skills for the co-ordination of their duties providing an efficient and cost-effective service to patients, staff, and visitors within the Trust.
- Maintain high standards of Health and Safety practices in accordance with legislative and Trust requirements.
- Provide support to the Facilities Manager in the day to day operational management of the department. Doing so will ensure that all areas are covered in accordance with accepted national and trust standards, policies, and procedures.
- The individual is required to communicate and establish a good working relationships with colleagues and customers and supervise staff, guiding and helping them fulfil their duties and reporting cover staffing inefficiencies to ensure cleaning standards are maintained.
