IHEEM Mentor Training

The IHEEM Mentor scheme is designed to ensure mentors are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively support their mentees, fostering a productive and effective mentoring relationship.
The day will consist of an interactive training and workshop, covering the following areas:
- The IHEEM Mentor scheme; how it operates, benefits, and mentor-mentee pairing process
- Mentoring contracts, the IHEEM Code of Conduct, behaviours, and legal responsibilities
- Positive models of mentoring
- Trust and relationship building
- Troubleshooting and Institute support
- Open forum discussions on mentoring experience, successes, and challenges
- The MyIHEEM Mentoring recording system and CPD tracking
