We are pleased to announce that IHEEM and HEFMA, in partnership with the Carbon and Energy Fund, have commissioned a guide to assist NHS Trusts meet the Net Zero carbon targets set out in the NHS strategy “Delivering a ‘Net Zero’ National Health Service”. The guide builds on previous work and sets out a clear three staged approach to decarbonising NHS estates and has been developed and reviewed by experts from across industry and the NHS. It draws on real NHS project experience as well as reviewing emerging and future technologies and explores how NHS Trusts can develop strategies that decarbonise now whilst simultaneously preparing for future innovation.
The guide will be launched online at www.carbonandenergyfund.net/net-zero-carbon-guide on the 1st of March 2021 and a joint webinar hosted by IHEEM is currently being developed as part of their 2021 Digital Programme on Wednesday 14th April 2021. Further details, including how you can register, will be published shortly.
