The 10-year deal, with the potential for a five-year extension, includes management of car parking facilities at Royal Bournemouth Hospital, Poole Hospital, Christchurch Hospital, and Alderney Hospital, with the additional future development of a multi-storey car par at Royal Bournemouth Hospital. It will see the expansion of car parking operations and services across the Trust, and the facilitation of a new online staff e-permit portal, barrier-controlled access for most patient and visitor car parks, and a new customer support team.
Saba MD, Phillip Herring, said: “With experience across more than 900 car parks in the UK, we recognise the need to use technology and innovation to create a seamless journey for patients, visitors, and staff. Over the next few months, we look forward to working in partnership with the Trust to implement a tailored customer plan, using modern technology and our wealth of expertise to form an efficient and considerable experience for all.”
In the UK, Saba manages approximately 186,000 parking spaces in over 900 car parks spread across 67 towns and cities, providing services to a wide range of public sector clients.
