Veolia said: “With a focus on maintaining essential infrastructure to support hospitals and local authorities, and reducing carbon emissions, the framework agreement will provide a wide range of cost-effective services for buildings across the UK. Designed to provide a one- stop shop for organisations to meet their engineering and maintenance requirements, the framework will provide customers with expert services that ‘combine quality, value, and compliance.”
The comprehensive range of services from Veolia includes the provision of renewable and low carbon heating systems, solar PV electricity generation, air-conditioning, electrical works, heating and plumbing, standby power generation, and managed FM.
John Abraham, Chief Operating Officer – Industrial, Water & Energy for Veolia UK, Ireland, and Nordics said: “Through this new framework agreement we will be able to extend our services to more NHS and public sector facilities, and help accelerate decarbonisation. By delivering the expert services essential to support these facilities, this further highlights our goal to help our customers reduce their carbon emissions through our strategic GreenUP programme. This actively demonstrates our commitment to counter climate change, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with the NHS and the public sector, and helping them achieve their Net Zero target.”
Veolia currently provides energy and facilities management to over 100 hospitals in the UK.
